Draper James Whiskey Tasting with katie jacobs

Katie Jacobs, of Styling My Everyday, recently gave us a ring to see if we'd like to collaborate on a styled shoot for Draper James. Well… yes, please. What an honor!

Draper James is the new "gal" in town. It's Reece Witherspoon's first boutique nestled in the 12 South neighborhood of Nashville.

The theme was a Southern Whiskey Tasting and it took place at this incredible location called Homestead Manor. Think moss and antlers, beautiful reclaimed wood, a cozy bar, and some tasty cocktails for a girls night out. We designed a whiskey tasting invitation, place cards, and menus with all these elements in mind. Katie set the table with this cool Spode china so we painted a watercolor border to mimic the pattern. Then we backed the various pieces with woodgrain textured paper. Lots of special details that brought it all together.

SAVAGE interior design launch party

This project was certainly a fun change of pace for us. We worked with SAVAGE interior design to create an invitation launching their new wallpaper line. Since the wallpaper was the main attraction we used it as an inner folder around the details. The circular invitation played off the unique doorway of the home where the party is taking place. Black & white with metallic silver foil and the coolest Eames paper from Neenah kept the modern edge we were going for.

winter merriment engagement party

Over the holidays we worked on a very festive, very dreamy engagement party. We carried touches of the couples' save the dates into this invitation, but really wanted it to stand reflect this party. The event was held at the brides parents house and out front are these modern, square trees. Can't wait for the main event!
