The Rosewall Wedding

These photos really speak for themselves… but a few notes. We created a watercolor for the invitation in these muted gray and earth tones. Then we carried that watercolor over into all the day of pieces like. Even the cake was molded after our design.  Sara Fried created such a dreamy, Tuscan affair that made guests double take they were still in Nashville. What was normally a big blank event space turned right on into Tuscany! Gorgeous flowers everywhere, olive branches draping, hand-painting slabs of Calcutta marble signage, twinkly garden lights, a tasting menu adorned with silver leaf, and incredible music. It all made for an incredible evening.

Magnolia Blooms / Oh So Beautiful Paper / Nashville Wedding

SO excited to share this post. It was an incredible collaboration between some of the best minds out there and we worked so hard as a team to bring these designs to life. The bride and her mother came to us with magnolia dreams and we did our best to make them come true! See this suite featured on Oh So Beautiful Paper

The Save the Date was letterpressed in blush + gray and we created a custom illustration of Cheekwood, where the reception took place. They loved the idea of a bookmark so we created this magnolia pattern to wrap around the card and be a keepsake for guests.

We also designed this holiday time engagement party invitation. Same feel, but with a festive hint of gold foil and a colorful liner.

Then for the big day we revealed our plans for a custom magnolia wrap that held all the details together. Inside this luxe invitation was letterpresses + gold foiled and edge painted. Such a gorgeous impact of just how special this wedding would be. The wrap even had a pocket that tucked all the detail and rsvp info neatly behind. The magnolia tree we illustrated was repeated on the custom wax seal.

Even the blush from the save the date made an appearance on the rsvp card and envelope. We really wanted to the suite to feel like you were revealing another level of detail as it unveiled!

All these details carried over into the day of items as well. I love the cohesiveness to this wedding. We got to flex our creative muscles and create outside the box for sure!

outdoor, cabin side wedding - nashville

This wedding was a mix of rustic-chic for two outdoors enthusiasts. Sara Fried of Fete Nashville created such a unique setting of wood texture mixed with romantic florals. Delicate string lights hung in the trees, feathers, antlers, and soft florals along the farm tables outside, and everything set against the couples log cabin home in the background. Lot's of romantic details and the beautiful bride was so glamorous, but her best buddy, Amos-the-dog, almost stole the show. Almost!

We designed the wedding invitation by re-creating the family crest into one more personal to the bride and groom. Inside we watercolored the log cabin home and added their canine friend who's king of the castle. Everything was letterpress on felt paper then backed with wood grain stock to add more texture. This was a fun one and we loved working with this wonderful group of folks.
